no they don't want to mod at all let alone ensure that memes get play on them, that's the reason they've removed all the rules about at least being off second page/two weeks now

and that's why we have like 5 memes about sleeping the past two days because people cannot fucking contain themselves or moderate themselves

i wish all posts on bakerstreet were moderated for approval and anything with less than 100 comments or so many numbers of actually played out threads were relegated to once a month (and some like the roll call shouldn't even be monthly but hey, you know how we love to beat a dead horse until its nothing but bones and no one replies to it!)

someone has been reposting a lot from tlh lately, which would normally be okay, but they're reposting a lot of memes that are skirting the edges of breaking the week posting rule by posting them 'off comm'. smut integrated is basically the smutty picture prompt and the finally is still on the second page and is just at a week.

That particular journal hasn't been posting excessively at least but it's true there has been quite a lot of cross-posting from TLH recently, at least every other day. We probably need to curb that.

this seems to be something the poster wants to make weekly, but considering it's done on the same day as the smutty picture prompt meme and it's a really similar meme, i'm wondering if it's not something that should be either given its own day or pushed to bi weekly/monthly. it is a good meme, but it also feels like a tongue in cheek reposting.

possibly ask them to switch days. two smutty picture prompt+ memes on the same day is overkill. i'm not saying that it's not a little different from the original smutty picture prompt meme, but having it be on the same day is just overkill. as i said, it's a pretty good meme and it's floundering because it feels like a cheeky shot at the scheduled meme.

i'd suggest asking them to both move it to another day, like wednesday or tuesday, and stop trying to do it weekly, because it's not popular enough at the moment to warrant it. it would get better traction if it was less frequent. maybe very two or three weeks on a wednesday. that way it's not co-opting the regular meme and it has a chance of growing on its own.

tlh posters and postings would be better spaced out. this was brought up before and it's continuing to be an issue. between this and the paired memes where they put in two/three of the same ones that are technically scheduled, the posters need to be talked to.

the integrated prompt meme is supposed to be posted tomorrow, so this breaches the schedule of posting the meme on the comm. please address what's happening with the tlh posting skirting and breaking the rules.
